| Abstract | 《知新報》是晚清維新派於1897－1901年在澳門發行的新聞報刊，利用澳門特殊的地理位置，它常刊載一些《時務報》和其他內地報紙不敢刊載的消息和評論，在中國近代史上佔有重要地位。該報三分之二的內容爲譯文，考察其創建、維新派翻譯強國思想之間的淵源、該報的翻譯贊助者和專業人員等，並梳理其對國際政治時事，西方先進科學發明、商務知識、思想文化的譯介，可知《知新報》憑藉翻譯活動，開啟了民智，推行了科學文化的啟蒙，對中國的近代化進程起了極其重要的作用。 |
