Abstract

In this article the authors derive, using the gauge approach to the t-J model, the Hall conductivity ( sigma H) and Hall coefficient (RH) for the physical electrons. They find that for sufficiently low doping ( delta ), RH varies as delta -1, while for higher doping (at fixed temperature), RH changes sign.
