Abstract | In our previous work, adaptively choosing the parameters of a Takenaka-Malmquist system according to the given function to be decomposed gives rise to the so called adaptive Fourier decomposition (AFD). In this paper, we propose to use AFD to eliminate the noise. The proposed method results in a small number of mono-components to reconstruct the denoised signal. Effectiveness of the algorithm is evaluated by the comparison experiments with the classical Fourier series algorithm. The results are promising. |
