Abstract | Power system can be controlled by power electronic systems in order to be more flexible, reliable and controllable. Combining information technologies, such as machine learning, artificial intelligence and big data together, optimization operation of power networks can be possible. In this chapter, smarter solutions based on power electronic converters are introduced. Today, micro-grids and smart grids are under development. Hopefully, high quality, renewable, stable and reliable power and energy can be implemented to support our daily life. |
