Abstract | Thanks to the newly excavated documents found in recent decades, the knowledge of math education in ancient China could be greatly improved. In this article, the teaching material of mathematics around B.C.200 of China would be studied by using several newly excavated documents and three empirical aspects of the mathematical knowledge of that period will be fully discussed. They are: a) the teaching material of math for the management of land and taxation; b) the teaching material of math for the management of storage and goods and c) the teaching material of math for the management of labor and manufacture industry. |
