Multilingualism, thus, became evident as a constitutive aspect of many sociocultural realities. The purpose of this dossier, framed in the lines of studies developed by the UNESCO Chair on Language Policies for Multilingualism (LPM) http://www.unescochairlpm.org, is to discuss multilingual settings/communities/subjects in different aspects: Language education; Translation and accessibility; Transculturalisms, intercultural interactions; Language policies; Migrations and mobility; Territories and borders; Internationalization, globalization and superdiversity; Information and communication technologies. |
