| Abstract | Article 355 of the Treaty on the Functioning of the European Union should be read taking into consideration article 52 TEU, , which lays down the general conditions of the territorial application of the Treaties. Differently from article 52 TEU, article 355 TFEU sets out precisely the territorial application of the Treaties, specifying the territories, European or otherwise, of the Member States to which EU law applies. |
