A comparative research is executed on the slotline stub-loaded resonator and hybrid stub-loaded resonator for design and exploration of advanced differential wideband filters with intrinsic common-mode rejection. The filter on slotline stub-loaded resonator is designed by allocating resonant modes and finding the feeding positions with proper external quality factor; whereas the filter on hybrid resonator is designed by mode allocation and coupling enhancement. Thus, the hybrid resonator has intrinsic CM rejection itself and a more proper resonant property. Its respective filter has improved DM performance. Moreover, its novel structure has largely enhanced the diversity of the differential filter with intrinsic common-mode rejection.
