Abstract | In this chapter, we first give an overview of wireless power transfer (WPT) and as well then investigate how to exploit the great potential of IRS for improving the WPT efficiency. Specifically, we present a general framework design for IRS-aided WPT systems from the perspectives of energy beamforming design and channel estimation issues. Moreover, the dynamic IRS beamforming design issue is also discussed to show some useful insights. |
