Abstract

In the contemporary context, the proliferation of unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) has spurred a surge in homemade UAV assembly endeavors. Novices often encounter challenges in implementing control systems that can effectively manage the multidimensional operations of UAVs, particularly in the context of Proportional-Integral-Derivative (PID) control. Selecting an appropriate PID control configuration poses a conundrum for many, compounded by the complex task of parameter tuning to achieve optimal performance. This study aims to address these issues through the simulation of PI, PD, and PID controls, culminating in the identification of the most suitable control model. Finally, PID control is selected as the optimal system. Leveraging tools such as MATLAB, the research endeavors to elucidate the distinct roles and impacts of each parameter within the realm of PID control, thus providing valuable perspectives for hobbyists and professionals involved in the realm of UAV construction and control mechanisms.
