Abstract

This paper presents a method to control the out-ofband performance of absorptive filters in both narrowband and wideband cases. To verify the method, a narrowband absorptive filter is designed with wideband matching, and a wideband one is proposed to achieve an infinite low-reflection range. Finally, the narrowband filter is implemented in microstrip-line platform, not only attaining symmetrical geometry but also improving impedance-matching performance.
