Abstract | With the profound influence that computer network exerted on the way people communicate, secure information transmission has gained extensively attention. To combat the disadvantage that traditional secret keys are easy to be forgotten, stolen or cracked and realize transmission with higher security, this paper proposes a secure information transmission framework based on the combination of biometric authentication and biometric cryptosystems. An improved facial Gabor feature is proposed to generate the encryption and decryption keys. And a biometric based authentication procedure is conducted to combat the identity theft while acquiring the key generation seed image. Abundant experiments have shown the effectiveness of the proposed algorithm. |
