Abstract

This paper proposes a novel reversible digital watermarking algorithm by block linking. First the input image is decomposed by a reversible integer transform. The expandable values for data embedding is divided into blocks which are linked by index. The location map is avoided to increase the capacity for embedding. The experimental results show that our proposed method can reverse the marked image pixels back to the original values without the use of location map and can achieve higher capacity. © 2009 IEEE.
