Abstract | In this paper, the stability of a parallel higher order basis based integral equation solver (HOBBIES) is analysed. The monostatic RCS from a model of 80 wavelength height and 60 wavelength width is simulated at 21 frequencies. The benchmark obtained indicates that HOBBIES takes almost the same amount of time for matrix filling and matrix equation solving for each frequency. The project is executed in about 8 days total all together, which demonstrates that HOBBIES is very stable on big cluster using AMD CPUs. © 2011 EurAAP. |
