Abstract
A novel miniaturized microstrip transversal bandpass filter is proposed. In this new filter structure, capacitive stub is used to shorten the resonator size. A prototype transversal bandpass filter centered at 2 GHz witb 5% FBW is designed and fabricated. Experimental results show this new filter with only 1.2 dB low passband insertion loss and 19 dB matching, acbieves 37% size dimioution when compared with tbe conveotional structure.
