| Abstract | 刘向一生，竭忠尽智为西汉王朝谋"无疆之计”。其王族出身及“宗正”之职，使他对维持刘汉大统抱有自觉责任感。西汉中期以后,权柄渐为宦官、外戚所把持，刘向忧患意识与日俱增，也一再以阴阳灾异学说和上呈天子的奏议、封事,揭露宦官、外戚专权对汉朝王权的危害。刘向还利用校书之便,编撰《列女传》、《新序》、《说苑》等书，为汉帝的统治提供历史的借鉴，其学术活动也始终带有极强的目的性和政治性。 |
