During the Republic of China, Wang Zhao-yong had been to Macau for 12 times and spent more than 13 years here altogether. In Macau he wrote a large number of poems, most of which are about the history, culture and customs of Macau. This essay makes a comprehensive study of the periods, ideas and artistic features of Wang's poetry in order to demonstrate their value in his creative life.
