香港的“两文三语”问题

Abstract

本文从社会文化和社区认同两方面探讨香港自1997年回归以来两文三语政策的 实践及其存在的问题,指出该政策实施17年来最大收获有两个:一是英语的地位基本没有改 变,港人依然重视英语能力;二是年青一代的普通话能力有所提高。香港社会目前依然在争论 该政策的一个核心问题,即粤语与共同语的关系。对于这个问题,港人更多地看重150年的历 史和社会因素,而我们或许可从母语口语和母语书面语方面重新认识方言和标准语的关系。
