Other Abstract | We thank González-Muniesa et al. for their comments on our article, which could be seen as evidence for the hypothesis that hypoxia can be used as a tool to treat obesity and associated comorbidities. Despite the fact that hypoxia training resulted in more weight loss than normoxia training in our study, the contributions of nutrition, hypoxia, and physical activity to weight loss are still unknown and thus more well-controlled studies are needed in this area. |
