Abstract

The hybrid microstrip/slotline structure has an intrinsic common-mode suppression property, which has great advantages in balanced filter design. Additionally, as the field conversion between the two kinds of transmission-lines is smooth within a wide frequency band, it passes the way for achievement of wideband balanced filter. In this paper, we make a summarization on our researches on the wideband balanced bandpass filters with intrinsic common-mode suppression via slotline multimode resonator (MMR) and hybrid MMR.
