Abstract | The purpose of this study is to compare and analyze some pancreatic cancer treatment techniques which include immunotherapy, hormone therapy, surgery, chemotherapy and radiation therapy. Fuzzy PROMETHEE method of evaluation was used to evaluate the methods, considering cost of treatment, cost of machinery, chances of survival and side effects that may be encountered after surgery. Our study shows that the surgery is among the best options for pancreatic cancer based on the selected criteria and their weights. The results obtained from this study gives a valuable information for the pancreatic cancer treatment alternatives. This study can be extended according to the patient's situation to get more specific analysis results. |
