AbstractA kind of upward transported mechanism has been developed in this paper, which is installed atop of a mobile robot. Dynamic model has been established for the entire robot, and model based control algorithm has been designed to control the entire robot to perform a given task. Field experiments have been made in different control strategies, which have proved that the robot can accomplish a given task successfully.
