Abstract

數學興趣培養,是華人教育比較回避的課題,除了奧數課程,似乎沒別的選擇。

教大學生更難,因為他們對數學的學習方法已經定型,他們對數學的學習興趣已經定

型,他們對自己學習數學的信心已經定型,這該是數學教育的難題中難題。筆者任教了一門非數學教育專業的數學課,發現大多數學生對數學沒興趣,決

定以平方差公式 a2 -b2 = (a-b) (a+b) 的推導為例,因為各個教材都是把因式相乘 (a-b)

(a+b) = a2 -b2 倒過來,就得到 a2 -b2 = (a-b) (a+b) ,探讨改變現狀的方法。
