AbstractThis presentation explores innovative strategies for integrating physical education (PE) and moral education to cultivate students' character and values. Drawing on theory of the Teaching Personal and Social Responsibility (TPSR) model, we examine how PE classes can be structured to simultaneously enhance physical skills and foster moral development. It outlines theoretical foundations, provides practical examples of incorporating TPSR levels and moral objectives into PE lesson plans, and showcases case studies from Macau schools demonstrating integrated approaches. It also discusses a cross-regional PE and moral education teaching forum between Macau and Zhuhai, highlighting knowledge exchange on innovative practices. The conclusion emphasizes the necessity and long-term impacts of merging PE and moral education, including cultivating socially responsible future citizens and driving educational innovation. This integrated approach offers a promising direction for enhancing both the physical and moral development of students in modern educational settings.
